In the 50 years that the University of California, Riverside institution has opened its doors to instruction, it has grown to become one of the most mature, research extensive universities in the country.
The campus houses over 17,000 students, who are taught by experienced and highly competent members of the academe whose standards are exceptionally high, and whose levels of instruction are strict yet enlightening, rigorous yet fulfilling. A lot of the students benefit highly from the faculty’s active engagement in the creation of new knowledge, which has much to do with the ground-level research instituted in the different areas of regional, national, and global level issues. Researches have ranged from water policy to childhood development, and from nanoscience technology all the way up to the visual arts.
The University of California, Riverside is a reflection of the world’s rich diversity. The undergraduate student roster is a sampling of individuals coming from over 35 states and over 22 counties, and as a matter of fact, almost one third of the graduate students come from all over the world. This is why UCR is widely hailed as one of the most diverse public universities in the nation, and has in fact been ranked 3rd in this area by the U.S. News and World Report.

From Los Angeles County
From the 91 freeway:
Take the 91 freeway east to the 60 freeway east. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the second light and make a right onto Campus Drive.
From the 10 freeway:
Take the 10 freeway east to Interstate 15 south and then to the 60 freeway east. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the second light and make a right onto Campus Drive.
From the 60 freeway:
Take the 60 freeway east. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the second light and make a right onto
Campus Drive.
From Orange County
Take the 91 freeway east to the 60 freeway east. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the second light and make a right onto Campus Drive.
From Ontario Airport From the 10 freeway:
Take the 10 freeway east, to the 15 south and then to the 60 east. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the second light and make a right onto Campus Drive.
From the 60 freeway:
Take the 60 freeway east. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the second light and make a right onto Campus Drive.
From Palm Springs
Take the 10 freeway west to the junction with the 60 freeway and go west. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the first traffic signal and turn right onto Campus Drive.
From San Bernardino
Take the 215 freeway south to the junction with the 60 freeway and go east. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the second traffic signal and turn right onto Campus Drive.
From San Diego County
Take the 15 freeway north to the 215 north and then the 60 freeway west. Exit at University Avenue and turn left. Go to the first light and make a right on Campus Drive.
