There are thousands of locations in California where one could hold a wedding, so a complete list of the places for weddings is virtually impossible. This location is in the East Bay area and is big enough to seat 500 people indoors or 150 people outdoors for a ceremony. If you are looking at the location for a reception the indoor seating maximum is 450 and the outdoor seating maximum is 60, making the location for many people and different size weddings and receptions.

This is a newer event location that will allow you to host your ultra fancy or very down to earth and informal wedding or reception. The Square offers lighting systems, sound systems, a dance floor, catering services, and a staff that is able to handle any event so that you do not have to stress over the details! The Square can help a bride and groom plan the wedding that they have always wanted. The location even features extras such as a fountain so that there is an element of romance present, not to mention a beautiful site to take your pictures!

Spotlight on the Square is available year around and can be booked in advance to make your planning easier. When planning a wedding or reception at this location you can choose from a garden area or the fountain area, both of which are beautiful. Meals for receptions are decently priced and range from just $14-$32 dollars per person.

 

The Berkeley Reparatory Theatre

Located in the East Bay area, The Berkeley Reparatory Theatre can seat 400 of your guests at your wedding ceremony or reception. The cost of renting the theatre will depend on the scale of your event, but generally ranges from $500 to $3,000, though cost of technical labor such as lighting and sound will be extra. Tables and chairs will be provided, though if you plan on having your reception here you will need to bring in your own catering and alcohol.

The Berkeley Reparatory Theatre is a grand place to hold your ceremony and reception, or just one of the two. You get a very dramatic place to have your big day and you can decorate to your hearts desire. If you are hosting a rather large wedding reception or ceremony, this really is the place to do it if you really want to shine on your big day. There are some extra things that you will have to consider if you plan your big day here, but the atmosphere is one of a kind, and perfect if you love the theatre!

Mammoth Mountain Resort

This resort is located in the Eastern Sierras and is perfect for the bride and groom that want to get back to nature and provide their friends and family with a truly spectacular setting for their wedding. Indoors the facility can seat up to 400 and outdoors up to 200 can be seated, making this the perfect place for your ceremony and reception, even if you hare having a big wedding!

The resort gives the bride and groom the opportunity to not only have their wedding on these four miles of beautiful real estate, but to allow their friends and family to stay at the variety of lodges on the grounds during the wedding events. Staying right on the grounds will make preparing for your big day much easier as everyone will be in one location and will be ready to enjoy the big day and the celebration after the ceremony. The staff is able to provide the bride and groom with everything they need, and the Village Pond even offers a built in photo opportunity that is unmatched. With everything right on the grounds the Mammoth Mountain Resort seems ideal! With lodging, beautiful backdrops, photo opportunities, catering, alcohol, and a staff with expertise, Mammoth Mountain is one of the top wedding sites in California!
